Healer and author trained across Chinese medicine, craniosacral therapy and shamanic practice, who teaches a body-led method she calls the Body Deva.
Mary Mueller Shutan came to spiritual healing through a long clinical training: a master's in Chinese medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, licensure in massage therapy since 2005, a CranioSacral Therapy diplomate through the Upledger Institute, Zero Balancing studied with its founder Dr Fritz Smith, and certifications in Asian bodywork, lymph drainage and Thai bodywork. Alongside that run decades of meditation and shamanic ritual practice.
Her own method, the Body Deva, treats the body as something to be listened to rather than worked on, and is taught through courses, certification and teacher training. She writes extensively on spiritual awakening and shadow work, and offers healing sessions alongside the books and courses.
“After decades of study and practice, my focus has shifted to meaningful human connection and living my life as fully and authentically as possible.”Mary Shutan
