American healer and retreat leader, formerly known as Prajna Ginty, working at the intersection of curandera plant-medicine tradition, Jungian depth psychology and women's mysticism.
Prajna O'Hara trained in psychology and dance therapy at SUNY Binghamton and pursued graduate theological study focused on Jungian thought and women's studies at Boston University. Across four decades of practice as a certified yoga teacher, massage therapist, and trauma-informed (Hakomi) therapist, she apprenticed for two decades within the Shipibo plant-medicine tradition under her teacher Ernesto Garcia Torres, and describes her current work as an "Anam Čara Curandera," blending indigenous ceremony, dreamwork and Jungian psychology.
She leads international retreats, women's mystery courses, ceremonies and mentoring programs, some of which involve restricted plant-medicine ceremonies at specific locations disclosed only to registered participants; she also publishes the newsletter The Salty Crone and is based in California.
“The essence of my professional work is to grow our capacity to mirror, listen, and see with genuine interest.”Prajna O'Hara
