Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche trained within the Nyingma lineage and founded Mangala Shri Bhuti to teach classical Tibetan philosophy and meditation directly applied to the concerns of contemporary Western students, without diluting the underlying rigor of traditional study. His son, Dungse Jampal Norbu, is recognised as his dharma heir and now teaches alongside him.
He leads the Nyingma Summer Seminar in 2026, teaches in cities including New York, and hosts the weekly Link podcast and livestream, running continuously since 2009, alongside sangha teachings across Europe.
