About the teacher

A quiet, direct path.

Tsoknyi Rinpoche, brother of Mingyur Rinpoche, teaches within the Nyingma lineage with a particular emphasis on what he calls 'essence love' and subtle-body awareness — working directly with felt bodily experience as a gateway into Dzogchen recognition rather than treating the body as separate from meditation practice.

Honouring a Tibetan 'obstacle year' through 2026, he is travelling minimally and holding no in-person retreats outside Nepal, teaching instead through ongoing online series such as Healing & Liberation and Fully Being, alongside a nine-day teaching in October 2026 at Chobar, Nepal, marking the opening of Tsoknyi Gechak Ling.
