A kirtan concert paired with audience questions on devotional chant practice.
Yoga & Tantra · Kirtan · Bhakti
Grammy-nominated American kirtan musician blending bhakti chant with world music influences from his travels in India.
Jai Uttal studied with Bengali devotional musicians during extended travels in India and went on to build a career fusing traditional kirtan chanting with blues, funk and world-music influences, earning a Grammy nomination along the way. His teaching happens largely through music itself — call-and-response chant as a devotional practice rather than through formal instruction.
His 'Kirtan Love Experience' world tour continues through 2026, including an online Kirtan Camp from January to April, a Kirtan Camp at Blue Spirit in Costa Rica from 25 July to 1 August, dates in Switzerland, and an Ecstatic Chant weekend at Omega Institute in September.
