About the teacher
Mirabai Ceiba
Mirabai Ceiba is the duo of Markus Sieber, who sings and plays guitar, and Angelika Baumbach, who sings and plays harp and keyboards. Markus is from East Germany; Angelika was born in Tucson, Arizona, to a Mexican mother and a German father and grew up in a village near Mexico City. They met at a street fair during the Edinburgh Fringe and have worked together since forming the duo in 2004.
Their music joins Gurmukhi mantra from the Kundalini Yoga tradition to original songs in English and Spanish, drawing on words from Rumi, Thich Nhat Hanh, Guru Nanak and Yogi Bhajan. Concert dates are kept at mirabaiceiba.com/concerts.
