About the teacher

A quiet, direct path.

Swami Sarvapriyananda serves as the head of the Vedanta Society of New York, part of the Ramakrishna Order founded in the lineage of Ramakrishna and Vivekananda. His talks, many recorded and shared online, are notable for translating classical Advaita Vedanta texts — the Bhagavad Gita, the Upanishads, the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna — into precise, contemporary language without diluting their philosophical rigor.

He teaches a full weekly programme at the Vedanta Society, including regular classes and 'Ask Swami' sessions, and has built one of the largest freely available talk archives in the modern Vedanta world.
