About the teacher

A quiet, direct path.

Yung Pueblo is the pen name of Diego Perez, whose writing on healing, self-love and emotional maturity draws on a personal background in Vipassana meditation as taught in the Goenka tradition, a distinct lineage from the Insight Meditation movement built by Western teachers such as Jack Kornfield. His books reach a large audience mainly through social media and touring rather than formal retreat teaching.

His book tour for How to Love Better runs through spring 2026, including stops in Boston and London, alongside his Substack newsletter, 'Elevate with Yung Pueblo'.
