About the teacher

A quiet, direct path.

Byron Katie (born 1942) developed The Work out of a personal crisis in the late 1980s, distilling it into four questions and a turnaround exercise applied to any stressful belief. The method spread widely because of its simplicity and repeatability, independent of any particular spiritual framework, even though its underlying orientation is closely aligned with non-dual inquiry.

Now in her eighties, she continues to teach through weekly online sessions ('At Home with BK') and ongoing Work-based programmes, run through her organisation The Work Foundation.
